It is imperative to the philosophy of the agency, that both donors and recipients share a balanced interest in working with the other party. Prospective Families acknowledges the unique standard of an “informed donor” and is determined to match only those parties who have been given an equal opportunity to assess whether or not working with the other party is appropriate. If both donors and recipients agree to work together, we have a match!
Donor selection can and should be an efficient process. Most intended parent(s) know exactly what they are looking for in a donor and can usually make a decision in less than a month once they have been presented with several appropriate donor profiles. It is our goal at Prospetive Families to combine an online database with personalized donor selection to assist you in your journey of selecting a Donor. Our Case Managers can provide you with suggestions on specific Donors or allow you to search the database on your own.
Prospective Families is particularly skilled in guiding the recipients through the selection process. In narrowing the donor options for a client, we will not only consider recipient preferences but, keeping in mind the specific donor protocol at your clinic, we will present to you only those donors who have the highest chance of success at your particular donor program.
Interested recipients are encouraged to contact us so that you can define the criteria appropriate for your selection process and so that our Case Managers can review the pool of currently available donors and make a presentation to you, either in person or electronically, of appropriate donor options. Our Donor Profile form is one of the most comprehensive in the business, it is a 27 page compilation of information required by the nation's top clinics. .
We would be pleased to meet with you and review the appropriate donor profiles. If preferred, a phone consult can be arranged where one of our representatives and the recipient are simultaneously reviewing the profile, and we can guide and assist in the final decision making.
While we are committed to only presenting for consideration, those donors we have confirmed are interested and available to cycle according to your scheduling needs, once the recipient parent has notified Prospective Families of an interest in a particular donor, the agency will reach out to that donor and confirm her availability and mutual interest in working with you.
